The maglock is not a nighttime policy. It is permanent. During the day, leaving traffic masks it. After 10pm, with zero ambient traffic, the trap reveals itself fully.

An actuation mechanism may exist — but it is not clearly marked, not easily found by someone unfamiliar with the property. Under pressure, alone, after dark — the distinction between mechanism exists and mechanism is findable disappears entirely.

This is a newer, professionally managed luxury property. It passed fire inspection. Someone signed off on this. The engine recorded what the inspector did not flag. The code requires egress to be readily accessible and clearly identifiable. These two facts do not reconcile.
